Built on entrepreneurial experience.

Galionor was founded by Leonide Saad, an entrepreneur with hands-on experience building a biotechnology company and advancing a therapy from concept through clinical development.

Founder

Leonide Saad, Ph.D.

Leonide founded Alkeus Pharmaceuticals and served as its Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientific Officer. He led ALK-001 from concept through clinical development and NDA submission for Stargardt disease — the most common inherited macular degeneration.

He brings to Galionor a builder's discipline and a first-hand understanding of what it takes to advance a therapy toward patients.
